Dear Santa Strider
Thank you very much for entering the Cleethorpes Santa Stride. There are just a handful of places left in the daytime and nighttime stride. We expect these will completely sell out in the next few days.
A reminder that your Santa suits and numbers are to be collected from Cleethorpes Discovery Centre on the day of the Stride from 1pm onwards. Please bring some safety pins with you so you can attach your number to your suit. Give yourself enough time to put your suit on and make any adjustments to the sizing.
If you are doing the night time stride, you must wear a good head torch or carry a torch. Please dress in high viz clothing so that you can be seen!
The festive warm up team have been practising their tunes and will be ready to warm you up 15 minutes before the start of the Stride outside the Discovery Centre.
Minced pies and a hot drink will be available in the centre at the reduced cost of £2.50 if you show your runner number. Please support the centre as they are staying open late for you.
We will be supporting Operation Christmas Child as our chosen charity at the Stride. They are a fantastic charity who send out shoe boxes of gifts every Christmas to needy children all around the world. They will be on hand to accept your kind gifts of pens, pencils, crayons, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, flannels and small toys. If every participant brought one item this would make Christmas a special time for a young child.
You will find information about the Stride on the >> WEB SITE
All that remains is to hope that you have great fun on 16th December.
