For the time being we have paused entries into the race whilst we fully assess the impact Covid-19 will have. We will be in touch with all runners asap to update them with progress. 


This will be fantastic fun just 5 days before Christmas. Come and join 600 other Santa Suit cad runners. joggers, walkers or strollers for some fun in Cleethorpes. There is a day time, night time or even both.

You re guaranteed a fab time, Santa Suit and medal for everyone included in the price.

Race entry



If you enter both the afternoon and evening strides then the system will automatically discount the entries as follows:

Adults (15+) – £13 for one, £20 (£10 each) for both

Children (5 to 14) – £8 for one, £12 (£6 each) for both

Children (under 5) – £4.50 for one, £7.50 (£3.75 each) for both

TO ENTER BOTH: You need to enter one of the events then click ‘add another registration‘ to enter the other one. If you are entering both the afternoon and evening events then the discounts will only be applied after all the participants have been added and you have clicked NEXT

Race HQ

This will be at the fabulous Tap House and Kitchen, where you can buy yourself a drink and a bite to eat before or after the event. This is located on Kings Road, Cleethorpes. DN35 0AG

Race course

There are 2 different options open to you. You just enter the event and decide which one you want to do on the day. Everyone starts off together and the shorter option will be well signed. Wherever possible please use one of the many car parks in Cleethorpes. There is parking close to the Discovery Centre for anyone with disabilities.   • When will I receive my number ?

    On race day, collection will be from the Tap House and Kitchen from 1pm

  • Can I have a refund, defer entry to a future year or transfer to another event?

    Sorry no, please see the terms and conditions of entry.

  • Where does it start/finish?

    Footpath next to Cleethorpes Tap House and Kitchen

  • Can I push a push chair?

    Yes as long as you are respectful of the other participants and members of the public.

  • Can I wear headphones?

    We do not support the use of earphones as they will stop you from hearing instructions from the marshals, or other danger around you. You will also miss out on the Christmas music!

  • Are the medals different for day/night?


  • Can I transfer from night/day and vice verse

    Yes you can as long as it is before 5pm on 16th December. Please e mail

  • I am doing night and day, how many suits will I receive?

    Just the one.....entry fees reduced for doing both.

  • Are the bib numbers different from night/day?

    Yes there will be 2 different sets of numbers

  • I have a disability and I am not sure if I should compete?

Terms and conditions

Entry into the event is subject to the following.. .

There is no minimum age for entry.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the safety of their children during the Santa Stride .

Refunds of entry fee will not be considered under any circumstances.

We are unable to defer any entries to future years. This is as your entry fee will be used to purchase goods and services many months before the event takes place.

Transfer of your entry to other participants is allowed up until 9am on 17th December .

The organisers will not be responsible for the loss, theft or damage of your personal belongings, other than caused as a result of our negligence .

It is your responsibility to make sure you have the required fitness to complete the stride.

Please listen to and respond to the advice given by  marshals. They are there to ensure that you and the general public are safe.

The organisers do not advocate the use of personal headphones during the stride. If you do choose to run with headphones on you do so entirely at your own risk as it will significantly reduce your ability to listen to safety instructions.

It is your personal responsibility to ensure that you arrive in good health ready to complete the stride. You are advised to note the advice at . . There will be event medical cover in place at the stride. If you require any assistance, please notify a marshal/official and they will make contact with the medics.

It is the responsibility of anyone with a disability that may adversely affect themselves or other entrants to undertake a suitable assessment of risk of the course. Please contact the organisers if you wish some assistance in this respect.

Please respect the countryside and dispose of your waste in a sensible manner.

In the event that adverse weather or any other prevailing circumstances mean that the stride is to be cancelled, details will be recorded on the web site and on the Face book page. A message will also be left on the event  phone. No refunds will be given, however we will make arrangements so you can collect your Santa Suits and medals. The organisers are not liable in any way for any expenditure you may have incurred.

Please ensure that you note any medical conditions on the rear of your running number.

Do not run using any other runners number.

By entering the race you give your permission for any photographs/video recordings to be used on the event web site and on social media.

Any found property handed to the organisers will be kept for 2 weeks after the stride then it will be disposed of. Any postage charges will be the responsibility of the loser should a request be made to post lost items .

It is your responsibility to check that any food you purchase at the event is suitable for your needs and does not contain any ingredients that you are unable to consume as a result of a medical condition.

You must wear a headtorch or carry one during the night run, as well as wear bright clothing

Tape2Tape  will be taking photos at the race. These images will be used  to share news about the event and to publicise our next event.  Images may be used in press releases, printed publicity and published on the Tape2Tape webbsite, Flickr, Facebook etc . If you would prefer for you or your child (when photographing under 18s) not to be photographed, please speak to Tape2Tape.

The event is inclusive and we encourage entries from everyone, irrespective of their ability. We encourage anyone who has any concerns about the course and whether or not it is  suitable for their individual circumstances to contact Nicola by e mail or telephone 01472 824894. We will be happy to meet with you on the course and discuss any areas of concern you may have.

The Course

The  course itself is flat, which should make it suitable for athletes in wheelchairs. There is one section of rough ground approximately 80m in length and a few ‘speed humps’ to negotiate. You are however encouraged, irrespective of your ability, to contact or telephone 01472 824894 to discuss your individual circumstances so we can jointly decide on the best start time or position in the field for you.


There are plenty of parking spaces close to the start/finish area.

Access The Tap House and Kitchen has a large car park with easy access to all facilities. There is a ‘disabled’ toilet based in the main building.

Visual impairment

Any visually impaired athlete is encouraged to run with a guide, who has a hi-viz tabard on denoting their role. Entry into the event is free  for a guide, please contact or telephone 01472 824894.

We actively encourage anyone to come forward and volunteer to assist at the race. We will work with you to provide the most appropriate role for your circumstances
