Have a look at the start line video

All runners will receive a finishers medal(original race date on.)Option to add a fab race buff/morf to your order.

TWO OPTIONS are available for you to complete your 10k.

  • Run the actual race route anytime between Monday 16th November and 3rd January 2021. We know how much the 10K means to runners so we have created an exciting alternative for you, using super technology, which will mean you can still run a slightly tweaked route on the actual course, without the need for a mass participation event. The 10k will still be based in Morton. You turn up at the start line and use our fantastic turn-by-turn voice navigation system which will guide you around the course. We will also provide you with a full written route description so you can’t go wrong!

Remember this is a FLAT & FAST route so if you’re after a 10k PB then its well worth a little journey.

  • RUN ANYWHERE VIRTUAL OPTION
If you don’t wish to travel to Gainsborough you can do the race virtually and run anywhere in the world and still receive your medal and buff.

PLEASE NOTE- You will still be competing as we will be handing out prizes to winners as usual. We will also produce a full set of results.

Race course

If you decide to have a trip out to run the actual route (it’s flat and fast!!) those of you who have ran it before will notice that we have made a very slight change to the well established 10k route. This is so we avoid Field Lane, where the majority of residents are elderly. This will be very clear on the instructions in the fab running app that will guide you around the route from the START to the FINISH line that we have set.

Full details will appear here asap, together with details of the GPS talking technology to guide you around the route.

Parking

Please park in a safe location respecting local residents.

    2. Tape2Tape decision is final!
    3. We will try as best we can to ensure the results are on a level playing field. To do so we will need the elapsed time and not  your run time. So if you stop for a coffee or a 5 minute wee half way round, that time will count!
    4. Do not start at the top of the biggest hill you can find and run like the wind downhill for 10k. Please choose a course where the start and finish are roughly the same altitude.
    5. Only where you have completed the run in one go will you be considered for a prize.
    6. Other than that, Tape2Tape decision is final, so no sulking or throwing your teddy out the pram!
