We only collect personal information such as names, addresses, and contact information when it is voluntarily submitted by our users. The information provided is only used to fulfill your specific request, and cannot be used for any other purpose unless permission is given by the individual who provided the information.
Processing of data
Tape2Tape receive data from a third party when a runner enters an event. This personal data is only used for its intended purpose, which is to allow the runner to participate in our events in a safe and enjoyable manner. The information is deleted from our system one month after an event has taken place.
Tape2Tape receives personal data from an individual when the volunteer to be a race crew member. This information is used to allow the volunteer to be safe at an event. If a volunteer no longer wishes to be a race crew member, they can have their information removed by e mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. This may take up to 3 weeks to process.
Tape2Tape receive newsletter sign up from our web site so that runners can be made aware of upcoming events. This information is not shared and an unsubscribe facility is easy to use.
Access to data held about an individual
Any such requests should be made to Tape2Tape. It will be necessary to verify an individuals identity prior to any disclosure of information. Tape2Tape aim to respond to such requests within 1 calendar month.
Complaints about data processing
If anyone is unhappy about how data is processed, they can e mail email@example.com or contact the Information Commissioners Office
Tape2Tape will ensure that any data breaches are dealt with as per the ICO guidelines.
Distribution of Information
We may only share your personal information with government agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation, and when it is legally required for us to do so. This information is never shared with third-party companies for marketing purposes.
