We love supporting local community groups and charities at our races. For the 2025 North Lincs half and 10k we are supporting North Lincolnshire based The Beat Goes on 31.
The Beat goes on provides cardiac screening for young people in North Lincolnshire aged between 14 and 35.
Every week in the UK 12 apparently fit and healthy young people in that age group die from undiagnosed cardiac conditions. 90% of these young people could have been saved through screening. 80% of these young people have no prior symptoms.
The cardiac screenings are conducted in conjunction with Cardiac Risk in the Young.
