❓What do you do with your old running shoes and t-shirts?
❓Would you like to pass them on to someone who may not even own a pair of shoes!
Grimsby Shoeboxes are coming along to the ABP Humber Coastal 10k on Sunday. You will find them near the START LINE.
They will be very grateful for your used trainers and t-shirts that will go to International Charities like Jacobs Well and Teams4u. Most of the children they work with both here in the UK and abroad could only dream of owning one of these items. 😞
Ellie from the charity has said that some of the items will also go into 12+ children’s Christmas shoeboxes along with some of the spare medals that we have donated to them.
They will also be very happy to accept donations for the Christmas shoeboxes similar to the items below:
* Hair items – brushes, combs, bobbles etc.
* Toys – dolls, cars, cuddly toys, skipping ropes, playing cards, dominoes, balls, marbles
* Stationary – pens, pencils, rubbers, notepads, glue, glitter, stickers, pencil case, geometry set
* Warm Clothing – hats, scarfs, gloves, mittens, tights, socks, new underwear etc.
* Costume Jewellery – necklace, bracelet, rings, bangles earrings.
