Runner Numbers Ørsted Great Grimsby 10k and Family Fun Run

Family Fun Run…all numbers are to be collected, none will be posted out. 

You have 2 options for collection of your number.

1. Saturday 31st May 10am until 2pm from the bandstand in Peoples Park. Address is Park Drive, Grimsby DN32 0LL. What3words bolts.stay.cult
2. Race day Sunday 1st June from the Tape2Tape gazebo in Peoples Park 8am onwards. Leave plenty of time as it will be busy.

If you entered the race prior to 1pm on Friday 23rd May your number/timing chip will be posted out to the address you registered with. These will be sent out in batches according to the date when you entered, so please do not panic if someone you know receives their envelope before you.

If you have not received your number after the postie has been on Thursday 29th May please act now, as follows

1. Check the entry list to make sure you have entered the race >>>>HERE
2. Log into Results Base, which you used to enter the race and check the address where you entered the race. If you have used a previous address please make all efforts to check there and retrieve your envelope.
3. Received a race transfer…..please contact the person you transferred from as they may have your runner number.
4. Now this may seem a strange ask of you…….please check around your home and ask other occupants to make sure it hasn’t  been put somewhere ‘safe.’ You would be most surprised at the amount of envelopes that turn up this way!
5. If after going through the above steps and you do not have your envelope please contact us immediately so we can try and assist you. You need to e mail info@tape2tape.co.uk with the following information

• Full name
• Your address
• Acknowledge that you have followed the advisory steps but still do not have your envelope.

If you entered the race after 1pm on Friday 23rd May you will need to collect your number. The reason for this is there is a Bank holiday with no post being delivered so we need to ensure you have your number for the start of the race. Collection details..

2. Race day Sunday 1st June from Great Grimsby Town Hall, 7.45am onwards. Leave plenty of time as it will be busy. This is a 2 minute walk to the start line. Foot access only, use the town centre car parks.

Received a race transfer..

The numbers/timing chips were printed around 4 weeks prior to race day. This allows sufficient time for processing, packing and delivery to your address in good time for race day.

As accommodating race organisers we know that for various reasons runners are unable to take part in the race, so we keep race transfers open beyond print time, indeed until 9am on the Wednesday before race day. This will mean, depending on the date the transfer took place that the number may be sent to the original owners address and it may have their chosen name on it. This is unavoidable, other than stopping transfers on the date numbers are printed, which we do not want to do.

It is your responsibility to ensure the new runner has their number for race day. The price of race entry includes one runner number/timing chip.

Feel free to use a sharpie to remove the name of the previous runner from the bib.
